Проблеми дослідження історії заслання українців та прибалтійських народів в СРСР

Анотація

У статті досліджено умови заслання та взаємодію українських і прибалтійських в'язнів у радянських таборах у повоєнний період. Наукова актуальність теми полягає у дослідженні співпраці політичних в'язнів різних національних груп, яка призвела до табірних повстань 1953-1954 років. Метою даного дослідження є визначення характеру умов заслання та можливостей контактів між українськими та прибалтійськими вʼязнями в контексті формування протестного руху на матеріалах табірних підрозділів Воркути, зокрема, Речлагу. Для досягнення цієї мети було використано методи порівняльного та ретроспективного аналізу, історичної та психологічної реконструкції. Дослідження дозволило виявити спільні та відмінні риси, притаманні таборам Воркути. З'ясовано, що основою взаємодії між українськими та прибалтійськими в'язнями було спільне становище та намагання покращити умови життя в таборі. При цьому констатовано, що однаковий культурно-освітній рівень та участь в антирадянському опорі сприяли налагодженню міжнаціональних контактів. Виявлено соціально-психологічні особливості українських та прибалтійських в'язнів повоєнної доби, які відрізняли їх від інших. Зʼясовано, що об'єднанню в національні групи сприяла самоідентифікація в'язнів як бранців з національним світоглядом і досвідом, що протистояли радянській ідеології. Головною метою було покращення умов утримання та звільнення в'язнів з місць несвободи, а активні спроби досягти цього припали на період після смерті Сталіна. Доведено, що політична невизначеність і хаотичні дії табірної адміністрації стали каталізатором повстань, які прискорили трансформацію місць несвободи. Ключова роль в організації протестів належала страйковим комітетам, які представляли групи в'язнів за етнічною ознакою. Зокрема, активну участь у них брали українські та прибалтійські в'язні. Це свідчить про місце і роль цих народів у табірних повстаннях. Практичне значення дослідження полягає у висвітленні маловивченого питання про шляхи взаємодії українських і прибалтійських політв'язнів та вплив цих контактів на боротьбу проти радянського репресивного апарату в місцях позбавлення волі
