Abstract
When in 2003 my husband, Borys Humeniuk, was first appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus and we were preparing for this responsible assignment, I understood that a new chapter in our lives awaited us - with qualitatively different challenges, risks, and trials. However, until the actual business trip began, I had no idea how colourful that page would be, how rich in mostly positive emotions, how generous in meeting interesting people... Our business trip lasted almost twelve years in total: from 2003 to 2007 and then again to the Republic of Cyprus - from 2012 to September 2019...
