"And yet the thought comes to you"
Abstract
The memory of L. Ukrainka and M. Drahomanov still lives on in Bulgaria. And in order for the light of this memory never to go out, it is the Ukrainians of Bulgaria who have been making their efforts for many years. From the very beginning of uniting Ukrainians in societies not only in Sofia, but also in other cities of Bulgaria (Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv, Silistra, Dobrogea), Lesya Ukrainka was one of the main figures to whom we directed our attention. Elena Kotseva has lived in Bulgaria for more than four decades. Of these, he has been the head of the Mother Ukraine Foundation in Sofia for more than 20 years, and the Union of Ukrainian Organizations of Bulgaria (UOB) for eight years, uniting six organizations from different Bulgarian cities that are full members of the European and World Congresses of Ukrainians.
