The Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, August 25, approved the conditions under which Ukraine will receive a tranche of macro-financial assistance from the European Union in the amount of 600 million euros.
248 people's deputies voted for the approval of the relevant memorandum and credit agreement with the EU on Tuesday, a European Truth correspondent reports.
As you know, Ukraine and the EU on July 23 officially approved an agreement on macro-financial assistance - a loan of 1.2 billion euros.
Brussels agreed to transfer half of the funds immediately, but in order to receive the next 600 million, Ukraine must carry out a number of reforms. On Tuesday, the Verkhovna Rada agreed on certain conditions for obtaining a loan.
As reported by EuroPravda, among other things, Ukraine has committed to a full reset of the High Qualifications Commission of Judges. In addition, a commission on integrity and ethics should be established in the judiciary, with the task of resetting the High Council of Justice.

Earlier, the European Commission predicted that Kyiv could meet the requirements of receiving 600 million euros by the end of the year.
